From the Cow Parade Collection. Cow Parade Moo-tini Bar. Made of solid resin. Title: Harrisburg's Moo-tini Bar Artist: Larry E. & Tina L. Robenolt Sponsor: Hilton Harrisburg & Towers Harrisburg's "Moo-tini Bar" was inspired by the renewed popularity of Martini parade float theme and Cosmopolitan drinks. The cow's back was reconstructed into a bar complete with a 44 inch wide sign that includes a chalkboard for writing the Moo-tini specials. The Cow sits on top of a 5x8 foot checkerboard barfloor. Two vintage reproduction red & chrome bar stools complete the retro theme.

Cow Parade Wicked Witch Cow from Wizard of Oz

Title: Udderly Wicked Witch Artist: Jeff A. Tackett Sponsor: American Royal Association Made of solid resin. Measures 5" high. Jeff Tackett created the original three cows for the Wizard of Oz herd, the "Cowardly Lion", the "Scarecow", parade float theme and the "Udderly Wicked Witch." In order to give his cows an authentic look for these easily recognized icons, he decided they would need to be sculpted, instead of just painted. The Cowardly Lion was the first, in about 3 weeks for use by CowParade for pre-event promotion. The Scarecow was the next to be added to the herd. Jeff was going to stop there but as the cows were being put out, the Witch was given the green light, parade float theme and manically put together in about three weeks. The mediums for each included things as aluminum mesh, plaster gauze, spray foam insulation, felt, Elmer's glue, parade float theme and exterior house paint. Jeff feels the Wizard of Oz is the embodiment of a classic fairy tale journey with themes of growth parade float theme and perseverance.
